6 Day Migration Western Corridor

During this 6-Days Tanzania Mid-Range Safari, takes you to the most famous and incredible parks where by you will visit all major parks which are Tarangire, Serengeti, Western Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

You will be seeing the enormous herds of the Great Migration making crossings of the Grumeti River in June and July is an excellent reason to visit this part of the Serengeti.

While these river crossings are less well known than the Mara River crossings to the north – where the river is more dangerous, wider and has more viewing points – the Grumeti River, which is the first big obstacle for the herds to tackle, still offers some exciting sightings, with the added benefit of fewer tourists at the crossing points. You will sleep in midrange lodges with private showers.

Day to Day

Day 01 : Arusha - Tarangire National Park

 Morning: After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park approximately 2-hour drive .

Safari: Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park’s varied habitats and the Tarangire River make it a hotspot for wildlife, especially during the dry season (June – November).

Evening: After extensive game drives in the park, you will drive you to the Lodge for Overnight.

Day 02 : Tarangire - Central Serengeti National Park

 Morning: After Early breakfast, you will drive to the Serengeti National Park. On this day, you should expect to enjoy a dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park.

Safari: Your guide will take you to the best spots to observe the wildlife. Elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, Topi, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and many more can be seen in this large national park. Especially in the Seronera Valley, you will be able to experience fantastic game viewing. The Serengeti, together with the Maasai Mara in Kenya, is also home to the largest animal migration on the planet.

Evening: After extensive game drives in the park, you will drive you to the Lodge for Overnight.

Day 03 : Central Serengeti - Western Serengeti Corridor

 Morning: Today after breakfast, your day starts with game viewing towards the Western Serengeti known as Western Corridor on which the drive takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Safari: You can encounter leopards and hyenas and ahead by giant Nile crocodiles, many hundreds perish as some hazard the river crossing while others detour it. But, the beauty of the landscape, stretching without end beneath an infinite sky on a Serengeti West Safari, changes something within the watcher, who becomes more aware of the place of humankind within the drama of the animal world.

Evening: After extensive game drives in the park, you will drive you to the Lodge for Overnight.

Day 04 : Full day Game drive Western Corridor

 Enjoy the full-day game drive in the Western Corridor. The key feature of in the Western Corridor is Grumeti river and Mbalageti river.

Evening: After extensive game drives in the park, you will drive you to the Lodge for Overnight.

Day 05 : Western Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

Morning: After breakfast you will morning game drive head out for an en-route game drive through the Serengeti National Park.

Safari: You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the Crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania.

Evening: After extensive game drives in the park, you will drive you to the Lodge for Overnight.

Day 06 : Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

 Morning: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater, often called the Eighth Natural Wonder of the World, is a natural enclosure filled with diverse habitats and a high concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino.

Afternoon: After a picnic lunch and extensive game drive, return to Arusha for drop-off.
