Day to Day

Day 01 : Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your day will begin early at 6:00 am (pick-up time depending on your hotel location in Zanzibar), when our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, our driver-guide will greet you and drive you to Tarangire National Park, located approximately 1.5 hours from Arusha. During the drive, your guide will share fascinating insights into the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, including large herds of elephants and diverse landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to savanna. The Tarangire River winds through the park, providing a scenic backdrop. You may be lucky enough to witness a lion stalking its prey or a leopard relaxing in the trees above.

After the game drive, you’ll return to your Campsite to unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night in comfort.

Accommodation: Fig big tree Lodge

Day 02 : Serengeti National park

After finishing up a good breakfast, you will head out towards the Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never ending plain grasslands. The Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Accommodation: Seronera Campsite

Day 03 : Serengeti –Ngorongoro Conservation area

Start your day with an early morning game drive through the Serengeti, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the famous Hippo Pools and the Seronera Visitor’s Center, should you wish. After a delicious breakfast at the bush camp, you’ll continue your game drive, retracing your route towards Naabi Hill Gate. In the early afternoon, you’ll head back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

For your overnight accommodation, you’ll stay at a comfortable mid-range lodge, such as Ang’ata Tented Lodge. If you choose the Camping Safari option, your night will be spent at the Simba Campsite, offering a true adventure under the stars.

Accommodation: Simba Campsite

Day 04 : Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe a stunning array of wildlife. Thanks to its year-round water supply and abundant vegetation, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a diverse range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants.

A highlight of the crater is its impressive population of predators. Here, you can spot lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and, with a bit of luck, the elusive leopard, which can be tricky to find without a trained eye. During your visit, we’ll also stop at Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern corner of the crater, known for its vibrant birdlife.

You’ll often see flamingos, hippos, and various other water birds at the lake. In the late afternoon, we’ll transfer you back to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.

Alternatively, if you’re heading to Zanzibar, we can arrange an airport drop-off. (Accommodation can be added upon request for an additional cost.)
