Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your guide will welcome the family and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and settling in after the journey. Your guide will also provide a safari briefing so everyone is ready for the adventure ahead.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire
After breakfast, leave Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park, a landscape famous for enormous baobab trees and impressive elephant herds. Begin your first game drive and enjoy the excitement of spotting wildlife together across the open park. Later, continue to your lodge or tented camp in or around Tarangire.

Day 3: Tarangire
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading out for another family game drive through Tarangire. Search for elephant families, giraffes, zebras, lions and colourful birdlife among the park’s giant baobabs. At the end of the day, return to the lodge for swimming, relaxation and time to share everyone’s favourite safari moments.

Day 4: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, leave Tarangire and travel toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Today offers a break from long game drives with a visit to a local community, where the family can learn about everyday life, traditions, crafts and stories. Afterwards, settle into the lodge, relax and let the children enjoy some downtime before the crater adventure the following morning.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Wake early for one of the journey’s biggest wildlife days and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the day searching for lions, rhinos, elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebras and gazelles across the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by this extraordinary landscape before continuing the game drive and returning to the lodge.
Dinner & Overnight: Ngorongoro
Day 6: Olduvai Gorge - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites. Discover how findings from this area have helped scientists understand the story of human origins, adding a fascinating history lesson to the family adventure. Afterwards, continue into the Serengeti, where the landscape opens into endless plains and an afternoon game drive introduces you to one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations.

Days 7–8: Serengeti National Park
Begin early with a packed breakfast and experience the Serengeti in the soft morning light. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, wildebeest and zebras while watching sunrise spread across the plains. Return for lunch or enjoy a private bush lunch before continuing toward the wildlife concentrations your guide has identified for the afternoon.

Day 9: Serengeti - Arusha
Enjoy your final breakfast in the Serengeti and take in the wilderness one last time. Depending on your family’s preference and travel arrangements, return to Arusha either by flight or by road. The journey ends with nine days of wildlife, discovery and shared family memories across northern Tanzania.
