Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Settle in and take the rest of the day to relax after your journey. Your honeymoon begins gently, with time to unwind before the safari adventure starts.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 2: Arusha National Park
Enjoy a leisurely morning before heading to Arusha National Park for your first wildlife experience together. Explore the areas around Ngurdoto Crater and the Momella Lakes, where flamingos may add splashes of pink to the landscape. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for a couples massage before dinner.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 3: Arusha - Tarangire
After an early breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park and begin your first full safari day. Tarangire is known for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and wonderfully wild atmosphere. Spend the day exploring the park before settling into your lodge or camp for dinner and a peaceful evening together.
Dinner & Overnight: Tarangire
Day 4: Tarangire National Park
Spend another day exploring Tarangire, moving through bushland toward the Silale Swamp. Large elephant herds often gather here to feed, while predators may also be found in the surrounding area. Enjoy the slower rhythm of the day, taking time with sightings before returning to camp in the evening.
Dinner & Overnight: Tarangire
Day 5: Tarangire - Mto wa Mbu - Lake Eyasi
Leave Tarangire on game drive and continue toward Mto wa Mbu for a bicycle ride to the shores of Lake Manyara. Enjoy a private picnic lunch with views across the soda lake before rejoining your safari guide. Later, continue to Lake Eyasi for a quieter evening surrounded by a completely different landscape.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi
Begin early with a cultural experience alongside the Hadzabe, learning about traditional tracking, hunting and gathering practices. Observe how they read the landscape and follow signs in the bush before returning to camp. Later, enjoy singing and dancing in celebration of your honeymoon, followed by brunch and a restful afternoon at the lodge.
Overnight: Lake Eyasi
Day 7: Lake Eyasi - Ngorongoro
Travel into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where Maasai communities and wildlife share the wider landscape. Descend into the crater for a game drive across open plains, swamps and acacia woodland, surrounded by one of Tanzania’s most dramatic natural settings. Later, return to your lodge on the crater rim for a relaxed evening together.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Day 8: Ngorongoro - Serengeti / Ndutu
Continue by game drive toward the Serengeti, with the landscape gradually opening into vast plains. Depending on the season, migration activity may be concentrated around Ndutu and the southern plains or farther north, but remarkable wildlife encounters are possible throughout the year. End the day with dinner, a campfire and the sounds of the African night around you.

Days 9–10: Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti and its remarkable resident and migratory wildlife. Search the famous kopjes, river areas and open plains for lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest and other wildlife. With plenty of time available, your game drives can remain flexible, allowing you to stay longer with special sightings and simply enjoy being together in the wilderness.
Overnight: Serengeti
Optional Extra: Balloon Safari with champagne breakfast in the bush – US$599 per person.
Day 11: Departure Day
Begin the morning with one final game drive as you make your way toward the airstrip. Take in the Serengeti one last time before boarding your flight to Zanzibar. From here, your honeymoon can continue beside the Indian Ocean, exchanging safari dust for white sand and warm tropical waters.
