Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Tanzania and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the safari ahead.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 2: Fly to Northern Serengeti
Fly from Arusha or Kilimanjaro to the Northern Serengeti, where your safari guide will meet you. Begin your first game drive around the Kogatende and Mara River area, following the movement of the herds across the northern plains.
Overnight: Northern Serengeti
Day 3: Mara River Crossing Experience
Head out early to explore the Mara River, following wildebeest and zebra herds in search of possible crossing activity. The area also offers strong opportunities for wildlife photography and predator sightings.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti
Continue exploring the Mara River and surrounding plains on an early morning game drive. The day remains flexible, allowing your guide to follow wildlife movements and focus on the most productive areas.

Day 5: Drive to Eastern Serengeti
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before travelling toward the Eastern Serengeti. Arrive in time for an afternoon drive focused on the area’s resident predators and open plains.

Day 6: Eastern Serengeti Big Cats
Set out early with a packed breakfast in search of lions, cheetahs and leopards, along with the prey species they follow. Early morning and late afternoon provide some of the best opportunities for predator behaviour and photography.

Day 7: Eastern Serengeti - Arusha
Enjoy one final early morning game drive before leaving the Eastern Serengeti. Take in the last wildlife encounters and open landscapes as you make your way toward the airstrip. Fly back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro, where the safari comes to an end and you continue with your onward journey.
